Living Trusts are a legal tool used for financial planning.
They are a commonly used alternative to a Will that allows California individuals and families to pass their Assets to Heirs and avoid the Probate process.

When you create a Living Trust, you can transfer your Assets into the Trust. Assets include Real Estate, Bank Accounts, Stocks, Bonds, Insurance Policies and other Personal Assets. The Real Estate Property Deed transfers to the Trust. Assets remain in your control. The Living Trust identifies your Executor. Upon your death, the Executor executes the direction you detailed in the Trust, including disbursement of your Assets.
