Abbreviated Document Definitions

This section is a general description of services offered by TD.

Standard Living Trust for Individual or Couple

Creating a Trust proves to be very advantageous in managing your Assets and belongings. The Trust is designed to distribute your Assets per your direction, following your death.  

Standard Last Will & Testament

  

A Last Will and Testament (commonly known as a Will) is a legally bound document detailing how your Heirs will receive your Assets and personal belongings.  A Will provides direction on how your Assets will be distributed and explain inheritance circumstances.


Standard Grant Deed

 The purpose of a Grant Deed is to transfer an interest in property. The only way to transfer Real Estate in California is with a written Deed. The Grant Deed is the most commonly used form. Another common form, is the Interspousal Grant Deed specifically to add or remove a Spouse from Title.    Other Grant Deed options: Quit Claim Deed, Trust Transfer Deed, Reconveyance Deed, etc...


Standard Advanced Healthcare Directive ("AHD")

 An AHD allows you to have legal control over your Health Care Treatment in the event that you are unable to speak for yourself. In the AHD, you will nominate a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care decisions, and an alternate if you choose to do so. The AHD communicates your quality of life instructions and organ donation specifications.

Affidavit of Death

To establish the death of a Trustee, Joint Tenant or Community property right of survivorship.

General Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney also know as a POA, is an Instrument containing authorization for one to act as the Agent on behalf of the Principal to conduct business on behalf of the Principal. 

Mobile Notary

As a commissioned Witness for the State of California, a Notary verifies the endorsement of documents signed by an Individual.
