The Residential Real Estate Rule requires certain professionals involved in real estate closings and settlements to submit reports to FinCEN regarding certain non-financed transfers of residential real estate to legal entities or trusts. Reporting requirements apply to transfers occurring on or after March 1, 2026.
ECN is reporting ALL Deeds granting to an Entity or Trust. Additional information will be collected from both Grantor and Grantee in order to comply with this Federal Regulation. ECN Will not record Deeds without a complete FinCEN reporting form. An additional fee of $125.00 will be charged on the file per property being transferred.
